Default Rit, Sin, Derv and Para Heroes and what to do with them?

If theres another thread on the same topic please point me to it cause I couldn't find one.

Well I have Prophecies and now EotN, I've been busy getting skills, runes and insignias for the 6 core proffesion heroes, took a while getting them to be better than the average pug player so they'd be worth taking.

Now I'm left with 4 heroes that only have 10 skills each from their proffesion and not one elite.

Any thoughts on what kind of builds I could run on them?

LoL. I was wondering when someone would complain about that.

There's not much you can do since they took the PvP packs off the online store.

Your only other choice is to buy Factions and Nightfall.

I think a hero can use a skill, though I'm not sure on that. When the Eye of the North preview weekend ended and the EotN skills were locked my heroes could still use them. Maybe it's the same for unlocking skills for other campaigns? *shrugs*

Every advancement in PvE skill related title tracks (Sunspear, LB, 4 EotN reputations) provides your character one or more hero skill points that you can use at a hero skill trainer to unlock skills for your heroes. If you have several characters, each of them can unlock different skills and thus you can have completely feasible builds for your heroes without having to play the profession for unlocks. You have to unlock elites with faction, though, and hero assassins are pretty useless no matter what

There are 2 Assassin, 5 Rit, 3 Paragon and 4 Derv elite skills in EotN.
To go with the 10 skills available to you.

Yet, your complaint is unfounded...I didn't buy it, but I want the features.
Useless whine. Factions and Nightfall aren't even that expensive...I've seen Factions for less than $20 and Nightfall for $30.
Please don't counter with, "why are they there?," since the game has content from all three campaigns.

I didn't think it was a complain, it sounded like a genuine question.

If you don't own a campaign, you can't get the skills from it. Even if a boss has a non-prophecies elite in EotN, you can't cap it unless you have the campaign it originally appeared in. So, unless you buy Nightfall, you can't use any skills on Dervish heroes that aren't exclusively EotN skills.

I know all that, was just curious if anyone found a creative way to use them with the limited skills.

No, gwen has ZERO elite skills for any class.

Anyways I got just got NF and looking forward to making some decent builds

Just a note; you can capture a skill that your account does not have from a boss using a Signet of Capture.
That skill will remain locked for you; however your heroes can use that skill.
On the hero skill bar it will have that locked icon too, but heroes can still use the skill. The only thing is you can't force them to activate that skill.

Sounds like a bug to me

Just a thought, but why do you want to equip them ALL? If it's just "because they're there", that's ok, but you may have a hard time. Otherwise, you really only need to decide what sort of group you want to use and which 3 heroes need to be used for it, and then only equip those ones.

First off, you can't cap any skill from a campaign you don't own.

Give Anton Way of the warrior skill from EOTN skill trainer, and throw a warrior build on him.... He can dish some decent damage with the criticals...

He won't be great, but if you are going to use him at all, this might make him not totally worthless.

If you don't have the campaign they are from, well you can't do much with them. The GW:EN skills are not strong enough to make a class.

When I didn't have Factions, I capped Auspicious Parry off of Bound Tiendi in NIghtfall.
I couldn't use the skill, but my Koss could.

Tsk tsk, such closedminded-ness =p The same group doesn't work for everything, nor should it !
